Survey Perks Community Panel Terms & conditions of membership

Thank you for your interest in registering for the Survey Perks panel. By registering for the panel, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. You also indicate that you are at least 16 years old and a resident of the United States.

1.1.   The Survey Perks panel, is owned and managed by Tribes Research Limited. Tribes Research Limited is a company registered in England and Wales with company no: 8385662 whose registered address is The White House, 2 Meadrow, Godalming, Surrey, GU7 3HN. 

1.2.   Tribes is a supply partner to Cint AB (“Cint”). Cint provides a global online research and insights platform that connects panel owners to market researchers and brands for the sharing of consumer opinions and data. Survey Perks members participate in markets research on the Cint platform. When new members join Survey Perks, their participation will be governed by the Cint membership terms, as well as these Terms and Conditions. 

1.3.   Tribes Research may amend these terms and conditions at any time by posting changes online. As a member it is your responsibility to review these terms and conditions regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes made. Your continued membership of the Survey Perks after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended. 

1.4.   This website uses cookies. By using the website and agreeing to these terms of use, you consent to our use of cookies in accordance with the terms of our Cookies Policy. 

1.5.   We will process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.  

1.6.   By being a member of Survey Perks, you agree to these terms of use in full. If you disagree with these terms of use or any part of these terms of use, you must not use the website. 

2.1.   Membership of the panel is only open to residents of the USA who are 16 years of age or over. 

2.2.   Membership of the panel is free. 

2.3.   Membership is personal to you and is not transferable. 

2.4.   You may only join the panel once 

2.5.   Membership of the panel entitles you to various incentives.  

2.6.   Tribes Research reserve the right to refuse any membership applications. 

2.7.   Tribes Research shall not be liable for any losses, costs or expenses, howsoever caused, arising out of your membership of the panel (including indirect, consequential or incidental losses or damages). 

3.1.   If you unsubscribe from our emails or by going to the “Close account” page in the panellist portal of the Survey Perks site, we will treat this as a request to suspend your account. We will keep the account active for a period of time as explained in the “How Long Will We Keep Your Data?” in the Privacy Policy. You will no longer be able to access the Site and you will no longer receive emails from us.  

3.2.   You can also request we delete your account entirely by emailing us at  We will delete your account as soon as reasonably practicable following receipt of the deletion request, and in any event within 5 business days. 

3.3.   When we delete an account entirely, we will anonymise your data as far as possible although we may continue to process your data for contractual reasons e.g. if we need to process donations to the organisation you are supporting. Please note if you have not earned a reward or incentive at the time you delete your account, you will forfeit any rights to try and earn or receive those incentives or rewards. 

3.4.   We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Panel membership, or your ability to access the Site immediately and without notice at any time, at our sole and absolute discretion. This may be because, for example, we consider that you have breached the Terms and Conditions or any other applicable terms or if you have been inactive for a period of time. 

3.5.   We may close the Panel and your account when the research programme ends or is cancelled. In these circumstances, we will inform all Panel members by email of the Panel being closed, at which point your access to it will cease. 


4.1.   Unless otherwise stated, Tribes Research or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved. 

4.2.   The website may be accessed anonymously as a visitor. To access certain services and content, you are required to register as a member of the panel. 

4.3.   You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the website for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms of use. You must not: 


a. republish material from this website (including republication on another website); 

b. sell, rent or sub-license material from the website; 

c. show any material from the website in public; 

d. reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on our website for a commercial purpose; 

e. edit or otherwise modify any material on the website; or 

f. redistribute material from this website except for content specifically and expressly made available for redistribution. 

5.1.   You must keep your login details (including email address, password and any other piece of information as part of our security procedures) confidential at all times and you must not share your login details with any third party. If you suspect that your login details have been compromised you must contact us immediately.  

5.2.   You must not use this website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity. 

5.3.   You must not use this website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software. 

5.4.   You must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities (including, without limitation, scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to this website without the express written consent of Tribes Research. 

5.5.   You must not use this website to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications. 

5.6.   You must not use this website for any purposes related to marketing without the express written consent of Tribes Research. 

6.1.   We do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of the information published on this website; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date. 

6.2.   To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to this website and the use of this website (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). 

7.1.   Nothing in these terms of use will: (a) limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence; (b) limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or (d) exclude any of our or your liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

9.1.   Without prejudice to our other rights under these terms of use, if you breach these terms of use in any way, we may take such action as we deem appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the website, prohibiting you from accessing the website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the website and/or bringing court proceedings against you. 

10.1.   We may revise these terms of use from time to time. Revised terms of use will apply to the use of our website from the date of publication of the revised terms of use on our website.
